Trinity Empowerment Consortium was created in 2002 to address a need for homeownership in our communities. The work has continued to thrive over the past 18 years by providing quality information and standards to the community of South Dade.
Trinity has now been positioned for increase by partnering with the supportive housing agency CarrFour, and operating our headquarters in the community of Goulds, FL.
Trinity believes that the strength of our community is in the knowledge they possess, and through direct programs and initiatives we can empower all to realize their goals and potential.
To revitalize low and moderate income communities by educating potential homebuyers and assisting existing homeowners in home ownership retention.
The founders of Trinity Empowerment Consortium subscribe to the principle of “To whom much is given, much is required” — Luke 12:48
Trinity has embraced that principle, and is vigilant in our efforts to ensure that no person who seeks assistance shall perish from lack of knowledge.
— Hosea 4:6
Over the past 5 years, with these Core Values at the center of our work, Trinity has:
- Educated over 5,000 clients seeking homeownership
- Empowered 500 clients to purchase homes through First Time Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance
- Empowered 70% of our clients through increased credit scores and financial capacity
- Encouraged over 1,000 clients through the foreclosure prevention process and helped most clients to receive a loan modification, which allowed them to stay in their home
